Pepper had to get some fresh air. For the first few days of the term she had been cooped up in the girl’s dorm and Ollie knows just how badly she can go stir crazy. They were headed back from a nice long walk around the grounds when Ollie watched Victoria walk to to the dorms and flop down on her bed. She recognized that flop; it was the flop of defeat. The flop of ‘I’ve had such a long day and all I want to do is hide from the world’. She figured her friend might need some cheering up.
Ollie bend down to scoop up Pepper before walking over to V’s bed and flopping down next to her. “Hope it’s alright if my cat comes on your bed. She gives the best cuddles for rough days.” She hopped Victoria wasn’t in too bad of a mood, Ollie could use some catching up with her. After all it was the new her to be more social.
V didn't notice Ollie at first, but when she did, the cat was already on her bed. V didn't sit up, but she lifted a hand to pat the cat.
"I don't mind. She's sweet," she said softly, moving into giving the cat scritches instead of just pats.
"She makes me miss my dog, though. It's so stupid we can't have dogs. I guess they're more.......work than cats. Needy." And Prince Charleston was so spoiled that he'd be a pain to take care of all on her own.
"How'd you know I was having a rough day?" She asked. Was it her TEARS or her staring at the ceiling? Or intuition? Ollie seemed very intuitive sometimes. V was jealous of her ability to read a room more carefully than she ever had been.
