Compared to his first DADA class last year, Daniel was more prepared for this year's first lesson. He knew quite a few spells by now, some learned in classes by the professors, some self-taught and some a few of the older students had taught him.Speaking of which, the Hufflepuff hoped Claudine would be in class because he wanted to confirm a date, place, and time for the tutoring lessons she had promised to give him.

Upon entering the classroom, the second year was slightly surprised at the change of scenery and although he had never been in the forbidden forest he knew it had to resemble it.
