Not that it would matter that much to me if the niffler did manage to steal it away, he had others at home.
"I don't blame you." He would have wanted to spend all of his time here too. "Do you ever get to help your sister take care of the creatures too?" A vet sounded like a really cool job too. It was not something he had yet considered for his future, but maybe. Psychology and study of the human mind did still hold more of a fascination to him though. "Your dad worked at the Menagerie?" Or was he mistaking that? "Has it ever been hard to have to share resources with so many siblings?" And by resources, he really only meant time.
A soft giggle did escape her lips as the niffler seemed to show interest solely in Evan's watch.
"I'm sure I have sparkly things in my bag that would get their attention and spare your watch." She was sure to have something even if it was a hair clip or a glitter pen. Now that the niffler was super closer to them, Lia reached out her hand slowly and cautiously so as not to startle it. Speaking of which.. hello bracelets and rings that she normally tended to wear?
"Erm.. that really depends," she answered quietly.
"Usually not here. If it's one of ours or a family friend or perhaps one she's brought home for a bit than yeah, sometimes." Hady took her job very seriously and it was all about the creatures and their comfort and safety first. Lia nodded.
"Uh-huh. That was years ago though.. when we were still little." She really missed when he worked there and getting to be there ALL day long. That was a place where she had gotten to help with all of the creatures.
"Resources?" There was a slight tilt of her head a questioning look in her eye.
"What do you mean?"
