It seemed like this boy wasn't much of a talker but Val didn't mind. Not everyone liked to talk the way she did. Oh, well. "Nice to meet you Daniel." She suddenly wanted to ask him if she could call him Danny or Dan, that name had so many variations but refrained from doing so. She didn't want him hating her after just a moment of their meeting.

.... oh, a cat. A black cat. It looked so handsome and majestic. She hesitantly reached out a hand to touch it's back. "Same, can't wait to be at school either! Wait, what year are you in?" Valentina asked curiously, observing him out of the corner of her eyes.
