They let it drop after a moment.
Nem gestured to the free seat across from the kneazle, a silent invitation to sit if the littlest Nam was interested in doing so, and bundled the robes back into their bag. Next moment, Nem was turning something shiny and nondescript over in their fingers instead, as they entertained the pleasantries. "Quiet. Yours?"
