Judging by the conversation, Scarlett would be joining them at some point and she was nawt sure she was ready for that. The Gryffindor scrambled to her feet suddenly, “C’mon, let’s go sit under that tree to get some shade.” She scooped up her curly fries and lead the way.
“It’s okay, I’ve got loads so no need to pay me back.” She wasn’t even sure if she could fit these ones in. “You made her get you BOTH some fries? She’ll struggle carrying those back.” Remy chuckled at the thought. Perhaps it would hold her off longer.
Pfft - an ostrich. Remy would probably choose a mandrake as a patronus for Scarlett.
“I dunno if we’ve met?” Her eyes squinted some more at the girl. “I’m Remy Gaeltheos, you probably saw me in the school play.” She announced, proudly. Yeah, this was never going to die down, especially since she wasn’t sure whether to join the drama club next term. Too much trauma. "Shade?" Remy didn't think it was that hot, did she?? Dawn snorted under her breath. "What a softie." She said as she moved along too, but choosing not to sit under the tree for the shade. She was happy in the sun for now.
Really?? She didn't want a chip back? Dawn was always surprised when people acted that way. She'd always, ALWAYS make sure people paid her back, because that was what made society right. Pay back was important in eeeeeeeeevery sense of the word, mhm. "Hm, okay!" More for her then!
Anyhow. "Yeah, you have a point... Scarlett might eat all of my chips on the way back too." She considered out loud. It wouldn't be the first time that'd happen either. Rookie mistake. "All I know is that if I don't get all my curly fries then-- well, Scarlett will have to pay for another lot for me anyway." Which meant Dawn would have her chips one way or another. Good thing her cousin's family basically pooped money.
Dawn was watching the general food stand area to make sure Scarlett got back with her chips when Remy introduced herself. "I know, but I didn't watch the school play. I know you're in Scarlett's year. Gryffindor, yeah?" She added, glancing at Remy before looking back at the stands. "I'm Dawn Rastrick." |
