By happenstance though, he did see someone that he knew to share the excitement with. (Like the excitable puppy he was, Grayson assumed everyone was just as excited.)
"Yo, yo, Alexxxx." he called as he made his way over. "Any idea what all this is?" You know how some people had puppies to help them relieve all that inner stress they felt day to day? Alexander didn't have a puppy, but he did have a Grayson and, quite honestly, it was the same. But also much better. While it usually took a lot to build Alex back up after entering A Mood (tm), Grayson Phillips managed it effortlessly. So it ought to be no surprised that Alex perked up at the sound of his very voice.
"Graaaaysooooooon," he offered his best bro a lopsided grin, right before wolf-whistling and causing A Scene. "Did it just got hot in here or is it just me?" Yeah, he was fanning himself. Yeah, it was dramatic. And yeah, it was none of your freakin' business, so just move along with your lives and stop feeling sorry for yourselves because you can't seem to harness Main Character energy as well as these two can. Hate to see it.
"Some sort of festival," he answered with a shrug, taking a few seconds to look around at the grass-loungers. "It's cute, I guess." It'd be cuter if he were here with a date, but that's why Grayson came, yeah? The gods heard and delivered.
