Um. She coughed politely, or maybe it was more like choking.
Hey! He wasn’t old! Dustin was twenty-seven... that wasn’t old at all!!! Ouch. “Um. No problem, Lisa.” He shook her hand very politely.
...she probably should have brought Alex and not Dustin to this. Alex was less sensitive to this sort of stuff. Oopsies. She focused on the prizes, making a very focused face. “I think I’d like a wrist holster or a broomstick kit. But if I got something, I’d keep it. Unless someone else wanted it, which I doubt they would.” She didn’t have many friends who were into quidditch or flying, not anymore. And she’d like the wand holster for herself. “You should go first. That way, if you miss, I can try and win you the jersey for Jasper too.” She could just buy whatever prize she wanted anyway.
Dustin took this opportunity(the girls looked distracted) to take a very subtle step back.

He just had to continue being his optimistic self and do his job! In any case, he was looking at a happy, genuinely laughing Ashley Fox for the first time, and the realisation kept his big grin plastered on his face.
Ash was
VERY WEALTHY TOO!?
How come Lisa had
NEVER known this!?!?
.........Well she supposed it had never come up in conversation and did wealth really define a friendship. Lisa LIKED money but... Wealth... Wealth didn't really matter to her or knowing her friends were wealthy. She KNEW Daniel was wealthy because he
ACTED like he was loaded (hence part of the nickname of why Batman fit so well - Mr. Bruce Wayne...) whereas Ash was down to earth. "
I... I don't think you're dumb so..." she admitted quietly before adding. "
I didn't know you were actually a fairy Princess! WOW."
At Ash's comment about running away, Lisa cast a weary look to the Tall Twenty Seven Year old. "
Does she run away often?" she asked him before turning back to her friend. "
Why would you run away from Dustin?" She was very curious WHY Ash would run away from someone who protected her... Well. If her father assigned bodyguards to her... would she run away? Yeah... She would run away too. "
Never mind. I get it. If I had a bodyguard with me, I'd want some time alone too. No offence, Dustin."
"
A wrist hostler is a good prize!" nodded Lisa after Ash had informed her what kind of prize that she wanted. Her eyes widened to the size of saucers when she heard Ash offer to try to win a jersey for Jasper if she couldn't. "
Really!?!? Thank you. I'd be forever and ever and ever in your debt, friend!!" All Lisa wanted to do was do something nice for Jasper and now... she wanted to do something nice for Ash. Maybe if she won the jersey, she'd suggest they get ice cream. Her treat this time too.
The Shopkeeper guy approached them and knew Ash's name. Lisa leaned over to Ash. "
Wow. You're famous..." she whispered before beaming at the adult. "
Hi! I'm Lisa Nam! Ash's friend but you know that... I want to go first! " It was good that he knew of her as a friend of Ash's. They were good friends after all.
