In any case, he needed an excuse to step out of the house and the universe had sent him a 600 Years of Diagon Alley Celebration. Would you look at that! Good things really do happen to morally ambiguous people! Because he wasn't about to wander around the event alone and definitely not because he missed her, Alex had asked Nadine to join him.
Having arrived early, as always, he took the opportunity to scope out the various booths. Zap-a-Snitch? Aka an opportunity to show off his ~skills~ and snag a prize for the lovely lady? That's what Alexander called a win-win.
The summer thus far had been rather busy for Nadine, most of which just involved the sixteen year old reading her books out in her mother's gardens, playing with her younger siblings, shopping with her mum and Christianna, visiting Aunt Josie, Uncle Ethan and baby Liam, checking on Aunt Evie with her pregnancy and her cousins, as well as spending the weekend at her grandparents estate. So yes indeed, quite a busy girl she was. However, these things almost felt like a sort of distraction for the blonde as she was trying not to think about particular things that happened last term...or better yet a particular person..
A particular person who she had not seen yet this summer because he was away on a family vacation, but it's not like she was waiting for him to get back or anything. Absolutely not. But could not deny that there was a certain level of anxiousness for his return. Which would explain why she may have become a little too outwardly excited when he'd invited her to meet him at the 600 Years of Diagon Alley Celebration event. But it's not like she missed him....that much. Anyone could miss someone that you just happen to spend a lot of time with..
Please don't look at her like that.
Dressed in a white sundress and her blonde hair tied into a side braid, she made her way into the bustling Diagon Alley with an amazed look on her face. Everything was so festive and it looked very fun, but she was almost immediately trying to locate one Alex Stylinson, not wanting to keep him waiting. And it may have taken her a little while but soon recognized the back of his head 'There he is..', smiling immediately as she made a beeline for him from behind. Waiting until she was close enough behind him, she reached out to tap him on the shoulder lightly, "And so he returns.."
