Agreed! I think that it's the mystery that makes them extra fascinating to me though
I love speculating about their lives and hoping that they ended up as happy canon as in my imagination.

Sadly, Charity did not get a happy ending but I like to think that she enjoyed life with her Muggle gadgets and travelling to Muggle communities around the world.
I've often wondered how relationships worked out given the length the professors are away. I'd like to think {and hope} that at least some professors and partners make the long distance thing work.
