Serena wasn't much about plays. She's attended some quite a few times, but mostly because her mum was a famous Quidditch player and it had something to do with honorable invitations, or part of a charity event. They were tolerable. Would she attend one out of free will? No. Would she attend one to support her friends? Yes.

That's the only reason she decided to attend. Otherwise she'd be taking advantage of the lonely library. Say, this would even be an epic time to try and bust into the Restriction Section like Lisa and she had discussed.
