Professor Peralta was backstage, making sure the students doing makeup had all their supplies, helping to check that all the spells the stage crew would be using for lighting and effects were ready to be used. It didn't seem like she was needed, though. The kids had been working so hard on everything and it seemed that in that ridiculous Poppy woman's absence, they were ready to focus and make this happen all on their own. Proud? Yeah, she was that. And she was eager to see everything come together from her spot in the audience.
She did stay around to witness Mr. James' adorable speech first, of course. Cute. It had been really cute.
Merlin, she was going soft.
