“I think…” maybe, she didn’t know anything, “… after everything that happened last year the adults would have to take it seriously.” Had to be extra vigilant… Remy liked to think extra safety measures were put into place, although it posed the question of whether it was too soon for students to return to Hogwarts at all. “Healer Poppy is a little… strange, isn’t she?” Remy whispered the last part in case someone (or Myrtle) would overhear.

“I don’t think I’ll eat it anymore.” Yeah, she’ll stick to hiding sugar quills in her robe pockets. Remy’s mind suddenly went to 100mph, thinking of all of the friends she’d have to warn about this. She worried about them eating it right this second.

Despite vowing not to talk about it, Remy couldn’t help herself. Honestly it was all she thought about sometimes. “Do you think… I should tell him?” Did she even have it in her to do that? “… maybe I should wait until next term…” to see if the feelings were real, maybe, or just puppy love, a mere crush…. Remy didn’t know the difference.

Remy winked at her new friend with a big smile. Thank Merlin that she had not made an enemy today. It could’ve nearly gone that way!
