Divination TLA - Post 2 ~ Mrs. Steve Harrington ~ It be like that sometimes. The library was always Claudine’s chosen place for peace, quiet and alone time when there was a mountain of homework to be done. Today happened to be one such day that mountain had piled up. The reason this happened was because she had been dedicating a fair amount of her time to practicing nonverbal spells.
With one particularly long Charms essay written and her Potions homework three quarters of a way completed, the Snakette began to yawn and soon enough, could not keep her eyes open. She propped an elbow on the desk and rested her cheek on her palm. Claudine figured if she laid her head on the desk, she’d take more than a five minute nap.
She dozed off about a minute later. All this studying, homework, essays, spell practice, caring for the Hogwarts creatures under Williamson’s watch was definitely tiring her out. Being a student was tough, did the professors know? Anyway.
Claudine jerked out of her nap a short while later after her cheek started to slide off her palm. Rubbing her eyes, she tried to snag the remnants of her brief dream that happened to be escaping her memory. It was useless though. All she remembered was that she had been dreaming something about stargazing…
She supposed it should be written in her dream journal. It was just too bad the dream slipped away. |
