Oh no. He did not like where this was going. From the sound of it they were going to have to intentionally fall off their brooms today. Survival instincts did not make that easy. Despite being a Gryffindor, Devin still had at least some self-preservation instincts.

A net is a good solution to prevent injuries in controlled environments like this class where there are lots of people who might not be experienced fliers and might be at higher risk of falling, but it’s not a practical solution for someone who is traveling by broomstick because the whole world isn’t surrounded by a giant safety net.” The idea of a giant net around the world was kind of funny. As for how to avoid falling off in the first place, well, his answer would be to just not be on a broom in the first place but he didn’t think that was the answer the professor was looking for.
