~ Mrs. Steve Harrington ~ It be like that sometimes. The fact that Euka was unwilling to pry into a bunch of teenagers’ lives earned the woman a point in Claudine’s good book. With that bit of reassurance, the sixth year set about adding a few more details to her journal: speckled snake eggs beside each snake. Now her decorating was complete.
Euka’s joke wasn’t that funny so Claudien couldn’t figure out why the woman was laughing. Should Claudine laugh? Would it earn her some bonus marks for her journal assignment? The girl didn’t bother. She didn’t need help getting more than satisfactory marks.
Having her journal with her at all times shouldn’t be a problem. After all, Claudine usually walked around with her sketchpad and wooden crayons almost everywhere anyway. The journal would just join them. Simple as 1, 2, 3. For now, there were no questions in relation to the assignment. |
