Claudine was surprised at how fast her body adapted to the water. She expected some form of protection from the cold, yes, and thought that it was the effect of the gillyweed. She didn’t dwell too much on this thought as she suddenly realised that she could see clearer - a great deal too. Claudine found the scenery very pleasant to look at. At least there were no grindylows in sight.
She just thought of the creatures too soon and didn’t know it at the time.
Anyway.
Sticking close by to Heath and Ashley, she continued on. So busy enjoying the scenery that Claudine almost failed to notice the seaweed. So much seaweed! |
