~ Mrs. Steve Harrington ~ It be like that sometimes. With the enlarging machine finishing its business, Claudine carefully removed the paper. With that same care, it was transferred to her Developing Solution. The moment it was submerged, she began timing that two minutes. She was taking her time so that these images could come out perfectly. As she waited, another question occurred to her. The sixth year looked around for Varma, waving her hand slightly to get Varma’s attention. “Sorry to be a bother, Professor, but um… is there a timeframe for which this Solution goes bad? I mean, is there a specific amount of pictures that can be submerged before the magic wears off, if it does wear off?’’ Goodness, she sounded like a Ravenclaw, didn’t she? Maybe she was channeling Heath. Probably that’s what one got for having a Ravenclaw boyfriend. Anyway.
Time!
Two minutes were up. The picture was retrieved from the Solution then dunked into the tray of water. Claudine let the excess water drip off then hung it out to dry. If there was still time, she’d work on the other two pictures because this first one turned out to be perfection. |
