Lisa pursed her lips a little disappointed that there was no treasure. She then proceeded to arch her eyebrows in confusion about what Mamie was referring too. Wait. Say that one more time. What had she just shared with her? A map that showed the weather… impossible!!
She blinked, reprocessing what Mamie had shared with her. A MAP that showed the weather? How perfectly… bizarre. Her eyes glanced to the map in front of her and Mamie was right. It was showing the current weather outside which was cool with a winter breeze and gray.
“WOW! That’s so cool!”
Lisa turned to Mamie. “How accurate do you think it is?” she asked tilting her head. It seemed fairly accurate. Mamie grinned, letting out a happy chuckle at Lisa's excitement. Merlin, she had forgotten how cool magic was! She almost wished she was a first year again, so she could just...forget all the horrible things magic could be used for. And just see the amazement at how much easier it could make life, at how...magical it all could be.
She shrugged, looking back at the map. "I think it's correct, at least here. Maybe the edges are less accurate??" After all, did distance matter to a...spell? Charm? Whatever had been done to this map? "I've never seen it be wrong for the weather at Hogwarts." |
