Quinn sighed as he parked himself on the ground. "Eden. It's eight in the morning. Neither of us have been to the dining hall. Why would I have snacks?" Her question seemed like a non-question because there was no reason for him to have snacks. Quinn almost never had snacks and yet Eden still managed to ask him very often. Where would he even keep his snacks? There wasn't very much space in these pockets.
"YES," Eden sighed in relief.
"The pincers. Yes."
And now it was her time to give Quinn A Look, because what a silly, ridiculous, dumb, backwards, unnecessary question. Instead of giving an initial verbal answer, the girl unzipped her fanny pack and pulled out a tupperware of roast chicken and bread rolls from the night before. She'd affixed a handy dandy freezing charm on it and defrosted it this morning in her dorm. She gave it a little shake in Quinn's direction.
"Bet you'll be asking to share."
