This was said with a hint of playfulness as she hoped the husband wouldn't take her up on this. For if he did, they would be needing a whole LOT of pudding.

Hadleigh laughed softly. "In other words, you're being spoiled. Yes, I know. You've eaten nothing but pudding everyday you've been here." She smirked at him. This wasn't at all true, she knew very well that he ate real meals and was very taken care of exceptional well here thanks to his mum being a healer but that didn't stop her from worrying anyhow.

"They are. The house is all clean or at least is was when I left." Can't say for sure if it will still be that way once they return home. As for the offered pudding, Hady shook her head. "No thanks, I can't be depriving a healing man of his recovery food now, can I?" Hady winked at him teasingly.
A smirk grew ever so slightly on his face at the thought of the amount of pudding he had been given at the hospital being carried over into his home life. Even though he did need to keep tabs on his diet being an Auror, he definitely wouldn't have had any complaints about there being more pudding in their home. He was, after all, recovering still. All the pudding helped. It really did.

"I would assume so. My mum would surely insist," he responded cheekily to her first question. And he made a face when Hady made the comment about him being spoiled. "It is inevitable when you're mum takes on being your healer." He shrugged again, another wince of pain came from his shoulder. He did his best to hide it by making a quick comment. "The other healers made frequent food deliveries too. Must be because I'm so irresistible."

Just to prove that point, he helped himself to another mouthful of pudding. Of course, he did make a show out of it, making sure every bit of pudding had been licked up so that not a trace was left on the utensil before he returned.

An eyebrow did raise at the mention of the house being clean. He almost laughed at the idea, knowing that their house never stayed clean for long. Organized chaos was what it was most of the time, which he didn't really mind. But Frankie did make a pouty face when his offer was denied. "I think I'll survive with one less spoonful of pudding, Hads." Of course, he wasn't going to force her to eat it. He wasn't one to force her to do anything she didn't want to do. But he did give the side of his bed a pat, inviting her to sit next to him.
