Tallulah is the fifth of six children. Being a part of a decent-sized family, her upbringing was rather hectic with so many kids running around. Nevertheless, there was never a dull moment in the Gamp household, and there was much love to spread around.
When she arrived at Hogwarts, she was sorted into Hufflepuff without any hesitation from the Sorting Hat. In general, Tallulah had a number of friends because of her friendly demeanour and her involvement in the school. One person she came particularly close with, though never beyond friendship, was Conley Phora. With advice from her Head of House who also happened to be the school nurse, she settled on pursuing a Healer career after graduating from the school.
At university during a shared Advanced Charms course, Tallulah met her soulmate: Maddox Jones. The two fell head over heels for each other rather quickly and formed a stronger relationship. After years of dating and a number of proposal refusals, the two finally married (though she did keep her maiden name, rather than adopt Jones as her surname or hyphenate the two).
Not long after their marriage, Maddox began working abroad for his curse-breaking career. This did physically separate the two because work kept her in London while Jones did assignments out of the country. But the two were able to make their busy work schedules work and they enjoyed every minute that they were together when Maddox was back in the country. Whenever Gringotts put in a call for St. Mungo's healers, Tallulah would often sign herself up so that she and Maddox could see more of each other.
Late 2092, however, changed her life completely. During a raid in an unexplored tomb in Egypt, Maddox was badly cursed. While his team of curse-breakers was able to bring Maddox to the healer station at their base, Tallulah, who was an on-call healer for the raid and early on in her pregnancy, was unable to stop the curse in time as it had spread too quickly. Her partner died in her arms, which completely broke her and caused her to fall into a great depression that, adding more salt to the wound, caused her to have a miscarriage. She then quit her healing job because of the guilt and sadness she carried with her.
For a little more than a year after that, she hopped from one friend's home to another as Maddox's death and the miscarriage did quite a number on her. It was not until she received support from her good friend Conley Phora that things began to turn for the better; he helped her come to terms that what had happened was not her fault and that she couldn't spend her days losing herself and letting life pass by. She was then encouraged to get back up on her feet by getting herself back into the workforce.
She ended up applying to the Ministry and was placed in the Department for Magical Accidents and Catastrophes as a Spell Reversal Agent. A few years later, she added being a part-time lecturer at WU London to her list of responsibilities, teaching a course or two each semester that focused on general spell and dark curse reversals. Following the demise of her predecessor during the Third Wizarding War, she was promoted to Head Reversal Agent at the Ministry. Several years later, Tallulah was promoted to Department Head.
