Nibbling on her bread slice, Ivy walked over to stand beside Misa. "I'll be in a group with you." Were they following one of the professors or just grouping on their own? Either way, she wanted to stick with her dormmate.

Misa was snapped out of her daze when Ivy approached. "Sounds good." she said eyeing the girl's bread for a moment. She should really get over it. Misa loved bread and couldn't just give it up could she?

"Which direction you want to?" sounds like for some reason adult men were leading a decorating charge. Everyone knew teenage girls were the most skilled decorators.
