Besides, maybe he was telling the truth. Some people were so wrapped up in their own head that even the truth sounded like a lie. "Sounds painful. I'm sorry to hear that."
She ran her wand through the air over his injured fingers, murmuring quietly to herself as she recalled the healing charms she'd taught herself last term. Maybe she hadn't actually healed a HUMAN before, but she'd practiced like crazy. "How does that feel?"
