Gabriel grinned again. Kit's energy was seriously contagious. Based purely on Kit, the fourth floor was probably one big party. He nodded, as the other fellow pointed out that the things the paperwork was for made up for the paperwork itself. "Big stuff in no time, yep, that's the goal," he agreed. And, probably, big paperwork to go along with it.
And then the lift ride was half over. Gabriel shook his head at the offer of candy. "No, I will survive without candy," he said with a half smile. He could always stop by Level Four himself later if he changed his mind. "Better hurry!" Or hadn't Kit remembered that he was late late, for a very important date! |
