He felt...tingly. And he wasn't sure if it was because of his hand and then his brain was imagining it spread through his whole body or tingly because his unrequited love was complimenting him. Perhaps it was a little mix of both...but his fingers were tingling and uncomfortably so. It did remind him of when your foot was asleep and he had just had that this morning and hadn't realized it until he had tried to stand.
...not the best wake up call to start off the term. Atlas didn't believe in signs but...clearly it had been a sign.
