This sixth year was not impressed by that, Schmoe. The activity in general, however, was one that she could get behind. Even the part with the snack as she’d be making herself some s'mores later over the fire that her awkward professor had created magically.

The least he could do was try talking to new people. Right? Right.
So hearing an older student asking for a partner, and having noted she usually had interesting points in class, he pushed down his anxiety and made his way her direction.
"Do you mind if I partner with you?" He had his book and quill out already and in hand, but he was polite enough to wait until some type of confirmation or rejection.
Hopefully not the latter.
