And, as it happened, they had an answer for Schmoe this time. Sort of. They neglected to raise a hand, but they spoke anyway.
"I feel like people are always unwilling to look further than what they think they know." That wasn't a real feeling in terms of emotion, and they were well aware of that, but phrasing an 'I think' or 'I know' sort of statement as an 'I feel like' could be curiously effective sometimes.
