Avalon had been fully prepared to tune out of this conversation after giving her answer. After everything that had happened last term, she was emotionally fried. And talking more about feelings just wasn't in her headspace today. But some of her classmates were making pretty interesting points. And surprisingly, Schmoe was doing a really good job talking about it. She found herself unintentionally engrossed in the discussion.

When it came time to write down her own assumption, she stared at the paper for a few minutes, debating whether to share something personal or something about her house. Schmoe did say it was anonymous, right? Before giving it another thought, she scrawled one word across the paper.



The Ravenclaw quickly made her way to the table and placed her assumption face down, before she had a chance to change her mind. No going back now.
