Fox was usually said in an insulting, superior tone or an angry, threatening one. A 'one way trip to the afterlife' kind of tone. "I guess you're related to Lisa, then?" A distraction. Lisa was full of sunshine and rainbows. You couldn't be sad properly when Lisa was involved. Probably. Hopefully. Hopefully.
That both did not make sense to him... yet also made sense? Which was a confusing state to be in as well, but what wasn't really confusing these days?
"Sometimes getting to quiet thoughts or.. ignore the ones we don't want to untangle is nice." He'd been running away from plenty of thoughts he wasn't ready to deal with himself. A good portion of why he was doing silly, mundane things to begin with.
"So not Fox then." He didn't hate her. He didn't know her TO hate her, but she seemed fine and Lisa liked her so he'd take that recommendation for now.
"Is Ash your preference?"
Hearing the question, he half smiled even though he wasn't looking her direction and nodded his head.
"Yeah, she's my littlest sister." Which was now important to clarify since he had
two three sisters.
"She speaks highly of you." Now that he knew her name and could recognize it from Lisa chatter.
