The nagging thoughts in the back of her mind were the thoughts in the limbo. "I'm Ash. Or aShLEy foX. Or just Fox, depending on how much you hate me. And what tone of voice you want to say my name in." Ash was better for guilt, friendliness, and soft understanding tones. aShLEy foX was for insulted people or people who wanted to be formal. Fox was usually said in an insulting, superior tone or an angry, threatening one. A 'one way trip to the afterlife' kind of tone. "I guess you're related to Lisa, then?" A distraction. Lisa was full of sunshine and rainbows. You couldn't be sad properly when Lisa was involved. Probably. Hopefully. Hopefully.
