His thoughts faded off and he closed his book as he realized.. he didn't really have one of those anymore. And for a brief moment, he missed her.
But thankfully, he didn't have time to ruminate on that, as someone bumped into his back causing him to stumble forward and drop his book. He spun around noticing Lia on the ground and made a small noise before reaching down to help her up. "Hey, are you okay?? Sorry, I shouldn't be just standing here taking up so much of the hallway."
For several long moments she sat there staring up at Evan and his outstretched hand a look of puzzlement on her face. Had he run into her? Or had she run into him? Really she wasn't sure but seeing as she was the one on the floor...
Lia grabbed her book off the floor at the same time she took hold of Evan's hand.
"Yeah, yeah, I'm okay. I was kinda reading something myself..." she admitted softly getting to her feet and letting go of his hand.
Pushing some of her hair off face, she shifted her weight from one foot to the other.
"Why are you just standing here in the corridor anyhow?" Lia glanced up and down the corridor for anything interesting she may have missed.
