History:
Ash was born into one of the richest families in the world in Sydney, Australia. Her mother died in a motorcycle accident when Ash was a little kid. Ash only remembers smells and colors associated with her, but there are pictures all around their house. Her father was very distant after that incident and mostly leaves her to be cared for by her bodyguards. Her bodyguards are like her real dads (and they got married to each other so they really are like her parents). She had one stepmother and one little half-brother, but her stepmother died of some illness shortly after her brother was born. Ash barely knew her and therefore hardly cared, but she loves her brother a lot and tries to act like the mother that she doesn't have. Ash grew up with a very respectable muggle education, with sports, art, and one of the most prestigious public schools in Sydney involved.

Ash found out at age 11 that she was a witch, and that kinda tore her away from her previous life. She was very cautious about the new world that she lived in, and rightly so. Almost immediately after going to Hogwarts, Ash suffered fire, possession, and numerous other injuries that she blames on the lack of safety precautions at the school. She also helped burn down the forbidden forest (while possessed). Ash fears fire because it hurts and is destructive, but she also finds it to be beautiful and beautifully unpredictable.

Coming back for her second year at Hogwarts, Ash was not excited, and rightly so. Shortly after she arrived, the school was taken over by pureblood supremacists who subjected her to torture, humiliation, and confinement. She spent much of the time either hiding from the cult and lying low or standing up and making them mad. She was eventually stuck in a dirty room with a bunch of other rebellious students. She also got her first and second taste of crucio, and fought Emmerson Cambridge quite riskily to defend her blood status. Finally, she was put in a mirror for several months because she did not show respect for one of its members, and it scarred her permanently. She has clearly changed for the worse with her unpredictable moods, horrible nightmares, constant despair, and major attitude.

Third year, she hopes that it will be a quiet term where she can, y'know, relax and recover. But she doesn't really believe that's possible.
