Cece was feeling all the things. Sad because certain friends hadn’t returned. Worried because being back here after last term brought back a lot of unwelcome memories. Thankful because the friends that had returned made her feel the most her. And relieved to see Headmaster Trent back up on the dais. He was okay. He was back. This was good.
As she was arriving at the Gryffindor table, the blonde noticed a first year fleeing the area where Feebs, Emm, and Kizzy were sitting and she wondered why. The poor kid looked upset and Cece couldn’t help but think that Emm was the reason. She didn’t always think when she spoke, y’know? And that was sometimes a problem. She offered her friends a smile and a wave, but decided to check on the little instead of sitting with them.
”The first day is always kind of weird,” She said softly as she took a seat across from the girl. ”But it’s exciting, too. Welcome to Gryffindor. I’m Cece.” She offered her fist across the table for a fist bump.
