A quick glance through the doors of the Great Hall had been enough for Nem, at least for the time being. They didn't enter the feast properly just yet, but stood out in the Entrance Hall, watching the house elves go about their work, thinking idly back to how they'd blasted a wall apart last time they were in here, dodging around inferi and wayward curses to escort Bernadette out of the castle. The relative calm of the castle now, even with all the activity students settling in for a feast, was oppressive. They couldn't say they'd expected anything less.
Walking their fingers lightly along their collar - the expensive shirt concealed beneath their uniform was comfortably warm, but brand new, and they were still getting used to how closely it fit around the neck - Nem took another look inside the Great Hall, fixing their eyes on the spot in the centre of the staff table.
