Keep within this office? Jane was slightly thrown by this, and a little amused--where did the man expect her to try to sit? She chose a seat near, but not too near, her boss's desk and responded,
"Black, with lemon if you have it." (or none if he didn't, but either way, Jane did appreciate a strong cup of tea)
She was here partly, she had to admit to herself, to get a sense of just what Mr. Flamsteed was really like when he wasn't being impersonated by a polyjuiced wizard or controlled by a dark spell, but mainly to ask permission to send some of her elixir over to St. Mungo's. It was finally ready to try on humans, she felt.
Particularly one human--Jane had heard about
Horatio Blackthorne's spell damage during the battle at Hogwarts and felt her new invention might be just the thing for him. Besides, she owed it to her former pupil to try to do something for her favorite uncle, especially since she had been so late arriving to the big battle.
But for now, she perched erectly on her seat and waited for Flamsteed to make the opening move.
