Viv thought she might be annoyed at that sudden display, like how special was Upstead that he could just ring up Fletcher, but she was weary of feeling so much all the time. She was tired, and if Fletcher could move this along, he could tap dance on the top of her head.
"Do you want something? Coffee? Maybe tea, like a civilized human." She herself was not civilized, but no surprises. Vivi retrieved her paperwork from Upstead and tidied the stack. "Let's hope Fletcher hurries."
