On the outside of the building you’ll notice a large swirled ice cream cone sitting above the roof; alerting you to the faded green letters reading: Florean Fortescues Ice Cream Parlour. The shop has provided young and old with both magical and mundane selections for more years than are actually known—as noticed by the 19 on the corner, where the last two digits of the year are missing. The shop has served generation after generation.

Although the shop has stood the test of time, the interior changes periodically. As you get closer you’ll notice that there is an updated menu, new baked goods, and a toppings bar to knock your socks off. Once you’ve made your selection head to the Counter where the shopkeeper will scoop out your choice of ice cream. Once you have your ice cream you may decide to head to the Toppings Bar to add some pizzazz to your scoops. Just be sure to not make a mess!

If you’re ready to take a seat take note of the soft leather-upholstered seating inside. Or if you’re feeling a bit bolder, take a seat outside at the brightly coloured tables with a protection from the sun under a wide umbrellas. Or if you or your children are keen on having a party at Florean’s look no further than hosting their gathering in our new Party Room. Once you are done be sure to throw away your trash and enjoy the rest of your time in the North End of Diagon Alley.
