Slytherindor ♛ The Crazytastic Besties ♛ Shan Watson ♛
Noah had been lost in his own world as he stared at the Hufflepuff Table... Wait. Did his EYES deceive him? Was Minjae... hugging someone? Was that something that he should include in a potential dating profile of his mate's? Note taken..... A small smirked crossed his lips as he rested his chin back onto his hand before the smirk broke and the boy was genuinely smiling for the briefest of seconds.
He hadn't noticed Emmerson taking a seat until after she had sat down near him. In fact, she was opposite him. He returned her smile with a small one of his own. "Here's hoping the world's shortest feast?" He crossed his fingers so he wouldn't jinx it. He and Minjae needed to take that gap year.... like NOW. What more could happen at this point? He knew he was barely going to touch his dinner anyway. He sighed once more and then cast his eyes to the Slytherin Table, looking for a certain Slytherin.
Then more students started settling in at the Gryffindor table. Noah nodded at each one as they walked in. Atlas, Kaira, and Aires received a quiet look as they were further away from where he sat. Kinsay received a small nod as she sat next to Emmerson. He enjoyed the silence - it wasn't terrifying- it was comforting. The silence was almost a bond that tied them together. In the silence, he scanned the crowd, noting who most of his companions were. Most, if not all, were his younger peers and he felt awful that this had to be one of their memories of this school. Though that being said - had his memory of Hogwarts always been so rosy? There had always been dangers lurking in the corners but none as exhausting as the one that they had faced together.
A quiet 'hey' caught his attention and he turned his gaze to Louise who was taking a seat near him. "Hey there," he said, flashing her a small smile. He was glad to see her here. Honestly - he was glad to see most of his housemates here right now and sitting relatively closer together... It was comforting. Apollo and Charlie quickly joined them - they both got a nod in greeting. He sighed, running a hand through his natural dark hair.
Wasn't the End of Term feast supposed to be a celebratory event? He had remembered it from his fifth year brightly compared to this year and how dull it felt. Miserable. Tired. Exhausted. The one light; however, seemed to be the Hufflepuff Table.
A smirk lit up his lips as he watched Minjae receive all the hugs. "Looks like there's a cuddle pile over at the Hufflepuff table..." he said with a small smile on his lips. It was a nice scene to see especially after the horrors of this term.
