There it was a poster for Wrock Night in the Ravenclaw Common room, serving as a reminder of the event for the time it remained up by his bed. Tad had been looking forward to this night in a while as he got himself dressed out of his uniforms. Today he was sporting an all-black attire, sleeveless shirt, jeans, and dark dragon boots that he picked out with his grandfather over the summer.

He didn't want to show up without bringing anything though as he heard the music coming through the doors. "You coming, Tad?" Tad heard one of his dormmates ask but he waved them away while rummaging through the trunk. That's when he found his secret stash of candy and sweets from Hogsmeade. He was going to send some to Darius and Tierra back at home, but he could always grab some more and send them next time. He wanted to put on a good image and... if a certain someone noticed him. The thought made him blush.

Tad carried a small bag filled with honeyduke's candy, cookies, and cakes before he exited his dorm. He waved at those nearby as he saw two of the Prefects Jackson and Hanna talking with each other along with their Head of House, Professor Stewart. Jackson's hair for one was dyed in blue and purple, dressed in a muscle black tank top and leather pants to match.

"You look very Rock and Roll," said Hanna. She was wearing a singlet and black jeans.

""You both do," said Professor Stewart. A departure from her black robes instead was a fitted dress covered by a mini-leather jacket with her hair down.

"You look great too, Professor! I like your jacket," said Hanna.

Professor Stewart looked proudly at them. "You two have done rather excellently in putting this together. I'm proud of you."

Tad walked over to them putting one of his smiles, "Hi Professor Stewart, hi everyone. I brought some snacks." Holding the bag up brandishing the goodies.

"Hey!" Hanna smiled at Tad, "Rockin' outfit. I was going to put a bunch of tartan bows on my top with safety pins."

"That’s very nice of you, Mr. Potter. Are you ready to join in the fun?" Professor Stewart commented. Tad really admired his Head of House so this compliment uplifted him. Soon they were joined by a first-year student.

"Hello Professor Stewart. Hello everyone." Analiese said. Her hair was dyed purple, dressed in short-sleeved black t-shirt, a leather jacket, black skinny jeans and dark dragon-skin boots.

"Analiese, your hair looks great!" Hanna admired. Followed by Professor Stewart, "Hello, Ms. Allanach-Senchuri! Have you ever been to a rock and roll themed party before?" For some reason Tad found himself tuning in and out of the conversation that followed before him. He couldn't explain why but perhaps it was the music that was distracting him.

"Well then, I reckon the others will be here soon. In the meantime, either of you want to get started with some music?" Professor Stewart asked them.

"I'll start!" Jackson didn't hesitate to raise his hand before Tad could who chuckled at this. "Hanna wanna sing with me? I was thinking maybe one of those ones like... ooh, Queen has some good stuff my dad showed me or The Beatles? Aerosmith? Some of these I've never even heard of!"

"I like The Beatles, actually," Hanna replied. "But whatever song works for me."

Tad's daydreaming continued as the conversations flew before him. Eventually, it was interrupted by Professor's Stewart, "[b]You should have a go at one of the instruments.[/]b"

Hm? That was when Jackson asked again, "Anyone wanna be in my baaaand??""

Oh, yeah. Bands are cool. Tad nodded, "I'll join you guys," Setting down the bag of snacks on the nearby table before he went up to the stage set-up.

"D-do we need to... to do a sound check or something?" Hanna asked as she held the mic. She looked back at Professor Stewart was on the drums, Tad held the bass, and Jackson held the guitar.

"Let's go for it," Tad pumped a fist up in a cheer.

Their sound was rough, as expected for the first couple rounds. But after a three songs their sound was fitting. It was pure magical, only stopping so Tad could get himself a drink. The room was getting dizzy though, leading him to turn in early. He had class the next morning after all.
