Arabella had agreed to meet her husband for lunch. She was exhausted. Returning back to work after having triplets was a nightmare but she was glad to have Aegis' family to watch their children. Her own family had offered but she knew her parents were busy with the Trust and her little sister so she preferred not to overwhelm them with so many kids at once.
But yes - it was lunch time! Which meant - she could have a break and go see him. Seeing him brought a little normalcy back into her day and she found herself not walking on egg shells around him compared to in her group. After the interesting gala, she had started to tread very carefully around her co-workers and fellow Ministry workers. Trust no one. Stay vigilant. Oh mother Merlin. She was beginning to sound like her dear Papa.
Anyway - lunch. It was time for lunch and happier thoughts. She tried to focus on that. It was a little routine that she and Aegis had started up when they were courting and had continued onwards.
The beautiful witch turned around the corner to find a SCENE. She turned to her husband's coworkers (or so she presumed). There was a duck, a dragon(?), and people standing around. "What's going on?" she asked, eying the group suspiciously.
What was going on AND WHERE was her husband and WHY WAS THERE A DUCK HERE?!?!?
So many questions to answer. So little time.
She tapped her foot. She hated being late for a date.
