Seer and Prophecy Maven Laurel had not answered the call to arms to battle in the third wizard war, but her husband Aaron had. She was still back here at the ministry doing important Mysteries work. She had heard reports and gotten a few prohechies off late that all alluded to the fact that the Neo-Alliance wasn't just causing trouble in Britain but across Europe. Laurel was heading up to level one to leave some documents and print out some new files but really it was because her Inner Eye had warned her that something was up on this floor.

When Laurel neared the muggle technology centre she heard the alarming whooshing, hissing, crackling and felt the heat, that coffee conversation had to wait. Grabbing for her wand she hurried inside the Office Center, seeing the flames. "Oh my merlin, this is BAD!" So much muggle technology going up in flames. What a waste. "Aqua Eructo!" she casted in quick succession as she directed her wand towards the flames. "Glacius Duo!"
