Scottie deflected the first spell and his eyes widened as he saw a killing curse right off the bat - MERLIN'S PANTS.
That....that made Scottie angry. So angry that he felt like he was seeing red.

A stunning spell went after towards a large group as the Cruciatus Curse went towards what looked like a mother and daughter duo. Under different circumstances, Regina would've offered a smile to Emma as Scott introduced her, but instead she just nodded. Proper introductions could be done later after this battle was over and they were all fine.
Because they would be fine. She had to believe that.
Even if the sight of the Neo Alliance followers running at them...very much made her anxiety think otherwise.
Adrenaline racing through her, the flight part of her fight or flight instinct was very much trying to kick in, but with everything she had in her, she resisted it. She couldn't run. She was here to help. She-
Regina ducked, diving to the ground the moment that first Killing Curse was sent out. And was that Clay tackling the guy to the ground??? And there were a lot of spells and shouts and screams and-
"Protego Maxima!" She (hopefully) cast around herself and...well, her intention was for it to extend around Scott and Emma too - though whether she was actually able get it around them and fast enough to protect Scott from the stunning spell sent by a Neo Alliance member...remained to be seen.
