She couldn't help but feel sad seeing the students coming into class. So many looked defeated and just not their usually selves and she couldn't help but worry about their growth they were not getting this term because of all of this and what the future held for each of them. SPOILER!!: Kinsay Quote:

It was a little thing, but sometimes the little things felt like big things.
She paused as she made her way into the room, stopping to consider the question on the board and almost answering it outloud, before stopping herself. She wasn't sure what would get her into trouble these days. Instead, she settled for a quiet nod of the head and a soft, "Hi, professor," before making her way to a seat. She hoped Professor Kitridge would let them sit with their friends who weren't in the room. She missed them dearly. Especially Teddy, who she missed something fierce. "Good Day Kinsay" She tried to smile for the students, but she just couldn't get herself to snap, it just wasn't something that could happen since that meeting in the headmaster's office. She still felt the pain even if it wasn't there. SPOILER!!: Nem Quote:

Putting in a little extra work for the Big Man, even if it meant spending time in a class they'd never even considered taking as an elective. Might learn something worthwhile. Who knew.
(Nem knew.)
Strolling past Limpet to a seat at the very back of the dimly lit classroom, where they could sit alone and keep an eye on everyone else, Nem pulled their bag off their shoulder and swung it neatly under the desk. They dropped into a chair, tilted back on two legs, and stared right ahead at Kitridge, apparently ignoring the question on the board entirely.
There is always a moment in a professor's life where they feel they might have connected with someone, this was a moment she dreamed about, but wasn't sure it was the exact moment, but seeing Nem move into her room made Cassie stand a little taller. She knew the rumors of their alliance, but she couldn't help but hope she might be the reason Nem had started coming to her class. Maybe, just maybe this could be one of those moments. SPOILER!!: Noah Quote:

So he just walked into the room, nodded at the Professor, before stopping when he saw the question.
...HUH? ....
"uh, Hi Professor.... Intriguing question..." he commented. It was all he could offer at this point before he headed to find a seat in the classroom. Why do we feel itchy? he repeated in his mind. Easy. Allergies or Dust Mites... he thought, before taking a sit somewhere in the middle of the classroom. He really didn't feel like talking today.... He'd rather be in his own world.... At least in his own world, he couldn't get himself or anyone in trouble. "Why thank you Noah, I do enjoy an interesting start to a lesson with a question that might make you think." She wouldn't say more, but it did bring a small smile to her face. SPOILER!!: Quinn Quote:

"Hello, Professor," Quinn greeted, taking an empty seat. He didn't ponder much on the question in front of him, instead choosing to focus on the question in his mind—how could they escape The Room™? He had been thinking about that gross little window, and how it seemed like the best chance. Bubble-head Charm... maybe gillyweed..? But the pressure of the lake... there's probably more advanced spells that would help with that... but how would he plan with people outside the Room if his outside time was supervised..? "Hello Quinn, I hope you are finding something bright to look towards today." Always look for the helpers children, always look for the light in the dark. SPOILER!!: Bella Quote:

With her dark haired head cast down Bella entered the Divination classroom. Eventually she raised her head to peer around at setting. There wasn't much to see except for a question about itchyness. Shrugging she took a seat at one of the desks after greeting Professor Kitridge with a quiet. "Hello, professor Kitridge! Can we water scry today?" "No, no water today, but maybe in a different lesson we could do that." She had plenty of material for that in the future. SPOILER!!: Lia Quote:

It was in complete silence and a steady pace that Dahlia walked from The Room all the way up to the divination tower. Her head was kept down, blue eyes fixed on the ground in front of her feet. Only did she allow herself to look up once she stepped into the room. "Hello, Professor Kitridge," she greeted quietly offering up what she hoped was a half decent smile. Without much thought she choose the first empty seat and sat down, sliding her bag from her shoulder and setting it under her chair for the time being. A quick glance was given to the question on the board but that was all. "Hello Dahlia, I'm glad you made it today." She wanted them all to know she was glad they were there. SPOILER!!: Curtis Quote:
Originally Posted by Charely Potter Curtis was here... mostly. His physical presence, though what was going on in his mind was another matter. Isolation wasn't a stranger to him, but that was when he had control. Control slipped away by the day with him as of now.
"Hello... Professor." Curtis was exhausted. He slept most of the time and that made him more tired than usual after enough lack of exercise. He did manage a hint of a smile at his godmother before taking his seat. Why do we feel itchy? Curtis read the board before privately thinking, Because we don't get to bathe enough. Could he say that? Nah, maybe once it was all over.
Cassie tried hard all term to keep her eyes on all the students, but seeing her godson in her class always gave her a sigh of relief knowing he was alright and just getting the extra moment to check on him. It was like that for her own children as well. "Good day Curtis" SPOILER!!: Avalon Quote:
Originally Posted by Fireheart Avalon missed the old Divination lessons. The ones with flowers and incense and creatures...and a snappy, peppy Professor Kitridge. And she was losing more and more hope every day that she would ever get out of here. "Hello Professor Kitridge," she greeted glumly, dragging her feet a bit as she made her way to an empty desk. Her eyes flicked up to the board briefly, but the question made no sense to her. And she didn't quite have the energy to ponder it at the moment, other than the fact that she was itchy to get out of Hogwarts and see her family again. So she stared straight ahead, simply waiting for class to begin. "Hello Avalon, good to see you today." SPOILER!!: Bernie Quote:
Originally Posted by BanaBatGirl Bernie wandered up the stairs to Divination at the tail end of the pack of Room kids, breathing heavily as she ambled. (It wasn't her fault she was out of breath; it was the fault of the stairs.)
She let out a low sigh when she reached the top and looked around, missing the writing on the board. Her blue eyes landed on Kenzie and then on Nem, and naturally, she made a beeline his way, plopping into the seat next to him with a lot of gusto.
"HI," she greeted the Slytherin with enthusiasm, noticing the chair tilting thing, of course, but instead slouuuuuuuuuching back in her desk. This was a nice change of scenery; Nem didn't usually go to Divination, right? Anyway.
She almost smiled at them. "Wassup."
If there was one thing Cassie was glad to see it was that Bernie still looked like she had a pep in her step. She smiled as the girl headed for her seat and moved to the next. SPOILER!!: Camryn Quote:

Entering the tower, she went into auto-pilot. “Hello Professor”, she said before sitting down at an empty desk. Noticing the board, Cam saw the question. Why do we feel itchy? Nope, she didn’t really care about that either. "Hello Camryn, hope you are well." It was hard to ask if they were well knowing that many were going through so much. SPOILER!!: Claudine Quote:

Then her eyes shifted to the board. Itchy? Claudine wasn’t itchy. Little did she realise she actually started to scratch the palm of her left hand as she headed for the back of the class. "Good Day Claudine" She gave the girl a small smile. SPOILER!!: Apollo Quote:

He had hoped to have seen them at christmas, but nothing changed and if anything things seemed to be getting worse. This wasn't how Apollo had envisioned his first year of Hogwarts going at all.
Taking a seat beside Bella, he nodded at her and the Professor, making note of the question on the board. Why did they feel itchy? "Bad karma. Like if you know something is wrong... you just ... " okay, he probably should leave it at that. He was doing good at keeping a low profile so far, why change it? "That is a great answer and one I want you to hold on to for when we get started." She liked that he was already thinking about what could be answers to today's lesson. SPOILER!!: Adam Quote:

So he just woke up, ate, went to class, and came back. Each and every day.
Today was no exception, although he DID perk up a bit when he saw the question on the board. Itchiness? That was...not what he had been expecting when he stepped in to Divination today. Hmmm.
Seeing Adam walk in she gave the boy a nod as he headed for a seat. SPOILER!!: Mamie Quote:
Originally Posted by Waddles Mamie wasn't a big fan of divination, but she was a big fan of Professor Kitridge. Why hadn't wizards invented some sort of magical escalator? It would make Hogwarts much easier to get around.
She took a seat next to Kinsay, and stared at the board. She hadn't been itchy before, but now she was. She scratched at her arm, wondering why.
Oh Mamie, as the girl walked in Cassie had the urge to hug her. She had a few conversations with the child as she observed walks and other times and Cassie was feeling more protective of her puffs even more than before.
Seeing the final person come into the tower Cassie gave a smile to Devin before turning to the rest of the class to get the lesson started. "Good day class, I think we are all here and can get started. I hope you are ready for a unique sort of lesson. I want to leave the topic of divination forms and just speak about your thoughts on the universe and how it fits in with all of our lessons."
She moved about the class and looked at all the students. "I have always said divination is all around us, with as many forms as we have, one can say this subject is all just made up or that we just get what responses we want, but my question before we fully jump in is, what do you truly think? Does divination help us because the universe is always giving signs to help us along our path or are you one that just feels that diviners have simply used the universe to just get the reading they wish to get?"
There was no wrong answer and she was an open person and didn't mind if some or all didn't think her subject was actually something they fully believed in. She knew how she believed and she knew that some would see the truths.
**we will move on in about 24 hours!
