He trusted her more then anything and with his life, if anyone could get away with being him it was her.
After writing down all the things he knew about her he nodded at Lia giving her a soft warm smile. Taking her hair he dropped into the potion as it started swirling different colors before him. He was memorized by the colors that he forgotten what he was supposed to wait for. As it turned a pinkish purple color it reminded him of a color of her favorite flower.
"Wow... what a nice color of potion you got Bubbles, it's so you." Going to take some he looked at her giving her a soft warm smile. Seeing his own a Sapphire blue color he looked at it in awe just like he did Dahlia's. "Cheers!" Taking a drink of the Pinkish Purple potion he tasted cotton candy. "Mmm... cotton candy." As his skin started bubbling before long he was the girl standing in front of him.
Wow... he felt so short and was this what it was like being a girl? It was weird definitely, he felt weird in her clothes and being so short. "Okay... show time." He was ready to do this.
Dahlia was still very much transfixed on the now sapphire potion in her cauldron that she almost hadn't heard Tadhg speak to her.
"Huh?" the first year who was very often called 'Bubbles' for her normally upbeat hyper personality by her bestie, turned to look over her shoulder at him. The potion. He was talking about his, the one he had dropped a strand of her hair into.
Taking a step over towards him she was able to see that it had turned into a pinkish-purple color.
"It looks like my Dahlia flowers from home.." she whispered with a sad smile. Home. She missed home so much. Biting her lip, Lia pulled her gaze away from Tad's cauldron and back towards her own. She was meant to drink this now. Ladling some of the potion into a vile, she turned towards Tadhg. It was now or never.
"Cheers." Before she got the chance to change her mind, Dahlia tipped the vile to her lips and downed the contents in one swift motion. The sapphire blue liquid tasted almost like a blue raspberry candy but not really as this went down warm like a nice tea. It was very different but not in a completely unpleasant way.
Looking down at herself was the strangest thing and the sensation she felt as her skin began to bubble as it changed before her eyes was the weirdest yet. She grew several inches taller and her eyes changed from their normal sky blue to a deeper shade of blue. Her hair while it went from being very long all the way down her back, was now very short and 'floofy', some of it falling into her face over her eyes. The Ravenclaw crest on her robes disappeared as did the blue and bronze colors.
Turning around slowly she came face to face with herself, only it wasn't herself. And it wasn't her identical sister Lily, either. She knew it was Tadhg as her but it felt so odd being able to look DOWN at him, rather than up at him as usual.
"Whoa... this is so weird.."
As much as she wanted to remain standing right there and question Tad on what it felt like being her, that wasn't the task.
"Good luck and don't mess this up," she hummed cheekily, turning on her heel and walking away from him to find a new partner to question.
This should be interesting.
