Ivy...appreciated what Professor Flamsteed was trying to do with the flowers and them symbolizing hope, but...it unfortunately didn't lift her mood all that much. There was a tiny part of her that did still hold onto some semblance of hope that they'd somehow get out of this. But the flowers, though nice, weren't going to help them achieve that. They were just flowers at the end of the day.

But at least they were doing something now. That was the kind of stuff she liked best. Just talking left too much time for her to think about...everything.

The Ravenclaw knelt down and dug around some hyacinths to pull out of their spot, being careful to keep their roots intact and using both hands to hold them up. She followed the professor inside to set her hyacinths on a workstation.

Next, she needed to remove the dried leaves and roots, so she focused on that, especially the dried leaves since there seemed to be quite a few on them.
