Haiii, Professor <3 ~ Mrs. Steve Harrington ~ It be like that sometimes. Okay, so Claudine had used the shark example out of pure randomness but it seemed like one Kinsay James was fond of the creatures. The Snakette found that quite cute, and thought it was nice of Carton to humor her by saying he’ll consider something sharky for a future lesson. Actually, that would be quite the lesson. Anyway.
Claudine nodded to Carton to acknowledge that her answer could also work in the opposite direction then went on to make her scribbled notes. Oh. The Bird Conjuring Charm. Time would tell if Claudine would be adept to this one. Man, Carton was not kidding about that bang. Because she didn’t like noise, she winced. But the resulting birds fluttering around were a pretty sight. Already her mind was wandering to the type of birds she wanted to create.
And she knew just the type.
But first… practice. “Avis. A-vis. Avis.” Simple enough, right? Just then a thought occurred to her. “Professor, we are going to release any successfully conjured birds, right? That is… if they don’t vanish after a while... “ Claudine eyed Carton questioningly. Did the birds disappear after a while, much like leprechaun gold?
While she waited for her clarification, the fifth year mimicked Carton’s earlier wand movements: stick figure of a bird, a weird looking ‘m’ if you like. And repeat, repeat.
Simple enough. |
