Claudine had been overconfident that her counterspell would work and wasn’t surprised to see Ashley back in action soon after. She flashed the Ravenclaw a thumbs up but never managed to find a target. That was because Fiona was out for revenge. Well, maybe not revenge but there was a spell heading for Claudine and it took her by surprise.
The result?
This fifth year got hit squarely with the spell and now stood there frozen. Her wand arm was raised slightly in Fiona’s direction, the other close to her waist; she had been in the process of lowering it after giving Ashley the thumbs up. |
