Just where was the younger Slytherin?
Claudine straightened back up, wand held aloof, and keeping an eye out for spells heading her way.
Violet had already moved on after casting at Claudine, because she wasn't going to wait around to see if the other girl escaped and give her a clear shot back. She'd expected Claudine would want to get back at her in class, but hoped the girl wasn't going to angry with her when they finished this exercise. However, it was too late to worry about that now.

Violet saw Mamie freeze Atlas, AGAIN, and was about to target the other girl when she saw Fiona do it first. But there was Atlas, still frozen--that kid really needed to stop fiddling with his headband and pay attention! So Violet cast the couter-charm at Atlas as she passed, hissing in his ear:
"Heads up! Pay attention!"
