Her tone was enough to keep that smile on his face as he brought his drink to his lips. The teasing was always such a fun little game between them. Even if it had been some time since they last time they had seen each other, he wasn't one to forget. Just like he hadn't forgotten how she was one who liked getting in the thick of things.
"I am aware, yes," he cooly told her, that smile of his still present as he set his drink back down on the table. "Very much aware." He was, after all, an employee for a governing body of the magical community where changes were swiftly being implemented. He had his part to play in it too, thanks to a certain department head. They all, he imagined, would have a part to play soon enough, even the ever-delightful Milena Villeneuve.
For a moment he set the teasing aside. "Have you found somewhere to stay yet?" he asked her casually. "You are more than welcome at the manor, you know." It was just him there, and the old elf. A guest would be no issue at all if she needed accommodation.
